  1. You’ve had quite a life going from Nurse to Psychologist. Mental health issues are something which is coming more to the thoughts of everyone and it’s been far too long for this to happen.

You have a lot of life and blog interests and I hope to see you about 🙂

  2. Hi there,

Was a lovely surprise to see a new ‘follow’ on my blog this morning – thank you very much! And I was even more happier when I clicked on your blog to find that your blog revolves around psychology and mental health, both topics that I am deeply fond of and hoping to pursue!

Looking forward to learning more about you through your blogposts 🙂

    • Hello, Khadijah, ’twas my pleasure following your blog! I love written musings born out of introspection. Oh, I’m so happy to hear you’re planning to pursue psychology and mental health, too! I wish you all the best on that journey. I’m sure we both have things we can learn from each other though our posts. 🙂

  3. Absolutely love your name! 😉

Thank you so much for following my blog, it means a lot as I’ve only just started this whole blogging thing.

You’ll know how much thought and energy goes into writing a blog so to know that it’s actually been read by someone other than my boyfriend is a good feeling!

I really look forward to reading more of your ‘musings’!

    Keep well. x

  4. You sound most interesting! We have some things in common, namely writing and Psycnology. I’m going to do the A to Z blog challenge for April for the first time, I’m looking forward to reading everyone’s posts. I used to teach psychology in a FE college and still find it fascinating even though I’m now retired.

    • Thank you! Another thing we have in common — I used to teach psychology, too. It’s fascinating indeed, and what a joy to teach.

I’ve seen other bloggers join the A to Z challenge too, and I’ve thought about participating as well, but I don’t think I’ve got enough steam to see it through. Maybe next year for me, but I’m looking forward to reading your posts! Wishin’ you all the best in the challenge!

  5. My friend has three sites here, and I noticed one was over 500 followers; I did not check the others.
I cannot comprehend communicating with all those people.
I did not check your count either, however to have 80 and more responses would take me too much time, too much time away from myself. But I love to write, love to communicate, love to learn, and your sunflower post and narrative reminds me that I must do what I love. Starting each day facing the east.

    • Yes, blogging and consistent communication with fellow bloggers does take time indeed, though it’s a pleasure to continually connect with this thoughtful community. Thank you for dropping by and reading, Philip! Glad the sunflower piece resonated with you. 🙂

  6. Thank you for following my blog and I have just followed you as well. I like the name of your blog – very interesting. I, too, enjoyed the post about the sunflowers … I hope to gain some insight here as I tag along and will await next Sunday’s post.

  7. I know it’s old but Congrats on your work on thought catalog! I hope you keep writing and sharing your work with the world! Congrats on being published. Hope your 2018 has been well!! What made you want to share your work? Congrats on your blog too

    • Thank you! I’ve loved writing for as long as I can remember, and I think I’ll be continuing to write for the rest of my life. 🙂 Sharing my writing has been more of a challenge, because there’s vulnerability and risk involved in it. But I guess what makes me want to share my work is the possibility of inspiring, helping, or at least connecting with others who might be going through the same thing I am. I owe much of who I am from the words I’ve read, and sharing my words to others is my way of giving back.

Thanks again for giving my page a visit!

  8. Thanks for following me, its always a pleasant surprise to see someone new. There are so many blogs out there, its sometimes hard to know where to start.
I think your anonymity is a good thing, I’m that way too on my blog, not in real life, i’ve got a name and everything!
    Cheers

    • My pleasure, and welcome to the blogosphere! Nice to know you’re starting to go around the different blogs. No need to get pressured into getting to know them all at once; I’m sure you’ll get to gradually have a better feel of the blogging community as time passes by. Have fun blogging! 🙂

    • My pleasure, Khalisa! Nice to connect with you. I hope you find some interesting psychology stuff around here. 🙂 Some of my best friends are working as nurses in Germany, and know how to communicate in German. Maybe I could have them teach me some German words sometime, too. 🙂

  11. I am always inspired to hear the stories of others climbing life’s mountain of dreams. As you have noted in your blog, there is no one way up this mountain, the routes are as varied as the climbers, but all share a vision of reaching a personal summit, of being all they can be. I know you will achieve this goal. Namaste.
